    • Photo of Hector Scott, Alice Scott (nee Mitchell), Isobel Webb and Anne Scott at the front door of the farm cottage at Moncur pig farm, Inchture, near Dundee. Isobel all dressed up; must have been a special visit. Perhaps wedding arrangements.  Isobel with her Aunt Alice and two of her cousins, Hector and Anne.  Bill took the photo.  Alice's eldest son William was to be the best man at Bill and Isobel's wedding.  Isobel's uncle Will was the pig breeder on the farm. There was a row of 4 cottages for the farm workers.  The farm grew its own crops and had its own grinding mill to make all its own pig food.  Uncle Will stuck all his prize certificates on one of the piggery walls to encourage his pigs to eat up all their dinner and win him more prizes at the pig shows.!!!  The farm was on the main road from Dundee to Perth.  Across the road from the farm gate was an entrance to Rossie Priory estate, with its extensive woods and a small lake and the ruins of an ancient castle. Good for a Sunday afternoon stroll.  The estate had previously been used as a "reformatory" for bad boys.  Isobel may not have known that her grandfather Charles Foreman Mitchell, bleachfield worker, had spent time there when he was about 12 or 13 years old in the early 1880's.
Anne's father was William (Will) Leslie Scott and her mother was Alice Mitchell.  Her maternal grandparents were Charles Foreman Mitchell and Helen McDonald. She had two brothers and a sister, named Hector, William and Alice (died young).

Anne's family with Philip Clark

They have a son and a daughter.
